Meditation & Mindfulness: An Ongoing Series with Ken Taub Tuesday Nights 8 PM – 9:15pm Will Resume in March
WILL CONTINUE with our meditation and discussion group. Everyone is welcome to join. By learning how to follow our breath, sit on a cushion and be still for a few minutes, we allow ourselves to be literally grounded, focused on what’s right before us….suspended in the moment. This can not only be a point of entry into mindful presence, it will be the basis for our own inquiry and group discussions. Through a mix of visualization, Zen-style meditation and learning to cultivate detached awareness, we can limit the effects of everyday stress, allowing grace, ease and insight to filter in. For all levels; no previous meditation experience is required. Wear comfortable clothing. If you do not have a meditation cushion, one will be provided for you. Sign up by Saturday, January 8. Minimum of 8 people, maximum 15. 30 Class cost: $295 for all 20 Class cost: $240* 12 Class cost: $160* Drop-In’s: $15 per class *You may use your 20 or 12 class card over the entire year, for both series
